Research Assistant – Advanced Mental Health Care – Juno Beach, FL

We have an immediate opening for a full-time research assistant in a fast-paced private psychiatric practice. Hours of operation are typically 8am-8PM Monday through Friday; however, it varies depending on our patients’ needs (including nights and weekends). Individuals will typically work in an 8-hour block within the hours of operation. Full time is preferred, 40 hours a week with possible overtime. We offer competitive hourly rate and health insurance. Compensation varies based on education and work history. Seeking dedicated individuals who will be key employees as we grow and evolve. An excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an innovative and interesting new treatment option. Training and certification in TMS will be provided. Will be included in any medical journal publications during your employment.

Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Administering TMS treatments accurately and efficiently to patients.
  • Entering treatment information into databases.
  • Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions.
  • Effectively interacts with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare workers.
  • Participate in insurance authorization process, track visits, & schedule patient appointments.
  • Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EMR, CRFs, eCRF & a research database.
  • Provide educational consultations to interested patients.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Office administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, assisting with research data collection and documentation, scheduling appointments, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Must react calmly in emergency situations and make appropriate and timely decisions.
  • This position requires travel to all our locations (Palm Beach, Juno Beach, & Royal Palm Beach).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Health care or mental health care experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • CPR/AED certified.
