Customer Service Representative – MedLab Logistics – Aston, PA

HIRING: ASSISTANT LEVEL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES

Founded in 2000, we are a life science courier. We primarily ship organs, medical equipment, and blood products.

The customer service role is a support role for our lead dispatchers. We are looking to hire an employee that makes an immediate impact on customer service and has the willingness to learn new systems and drive to advance to dispatcher level.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Provide assistance by telephone and email to customers and business partners.
  • Update customers on proof of deliveries.
  • Monitor progress of delivery.
  • Interact with customers and staff in professional manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Experience in logistics or dispatching preferred but not required – package delivery experience a huge plus
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn in house order entry software
  • Ability to multitask – Call center, front desk, multi line experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with dispatch team, drivers, and customers.
  • Clean driving – customer service representatives may be required to drive company vehicle at times
  • Must be able to pass TSA clearances – FBI background check
  • Flexibility, as shifts are subject to change
  • Must be local – this is not a remote position
  • Work may require more than 40 hours per week. (Paid at time and a half)

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts (8 hour, 10 hour, 12 hour) – 1 weekend per month

Our company is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dispatchers are paid every week via direct deposit and receive a W-2 at year end.
