SodStar provides world class freight delivery to every customer, big or small. SodStar is currently seeking to hire a full time CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team.
Job Details:
- Regional routes
- Some weekend and overnight routes
- Shifts vary, must be willing to start work early AM
- Quarterly Bonus opportunities for safe driving
- The use of your personal cell phone is required for this position and will be partially reimbursed on a stipend basis.
Required:
- Valid Class A Endorsement and DOT Medical Certification
- Previous Class A driving experience (minimum of 1 year)
- Flatbed experience (minimum of 1 year)
- Clean driving record
- High level of customer service
- Positive attitude
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
- Ability to pull a flatbed (deliveries are primarily sod, fertilizer, block, pre-cast concrete)
- Ability to secure loads by hand
- Ability to use lumber tarps
- Must be able to operate a tablet for routing/GPS purposes
Preferred:
- Previous experience operating a forklift
