About the Organization:
The Idaho Wheat Commission (IWC) is a self-governing, state agency funded by Idaho’s wheat growers with a mission to increase the profitability of Idaho wheat producers by investing grower assessment dollars in market development, research, and grower education. The wheat commission is governed by a board of five wheat growers who are appointed by the Governor of the State of Idaho to serve a five-year term.
Scope of Position:
The Office Manager fulfills a critical role on the team by keeping the finances in order and daily operations running smoothly. The Office Manager is often the first point of contact with IWC as he/she answers phone calls and greets guests. The Office Manager is responsible for IWC’s financial management; including but not limited to financial reporting, staff payroll and benefit management, accounts payable and receivable, tax preparation and submission, audits, contracts, and insurance. In addition, this position maintains the Grower database and is responsible for all data requests and reporting needs for targeted grower outreach. IWC owns its building, this position generates and tracks tenant leases as well as addresses building-related issues.
