Details:
· You set your own schedule – 24 hours per week
Responsibilities:
· To lead, empower, and inspire care team to achieve and maintain high standards
· Hire, coach, and train team members, delegating nursing tasks as required by state regulation
· Oversee timely and accurate resident assessments as required by state regulation and maintain accurate wellness records for each resident
· Perform licensed nursing tasks within scope of practice as allowed by state law
· Interact with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel as needed; coordinate resident care with third party providers such as therapy, home health, and hospice
· Assist with continued compliance of policies/procedures and state regulations with participation in state surveys as needed
· Removes barriers, takes initiative as a critical thinker, embracing conflict with logic, heart, and grace
Requirements:
· Knowledge of current state regulations and Nurse Practice Acts, experience in senior living preferred
· Licensed and in good standing as required by the State Licensing Authority
· Comfortable with and demonstrates competency with technology, including Microsoft Office, email, electronic medical records software
· The ability to connect with older adults, families, referral sources, team members and others with genuine concern, kindness, and empathy
· A desire to work with and serve the senior population
· Communicate professionally, provide excellent customer service, and model our senior living leadership values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun
