Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain all licensing requirements for health and safety of children

  • Oversee staffing with absences and ratios
  • Answer the phone
  • Greet parents
  • Call a parent if a child is out sick
  • Facilitate breaks for staff
  • Collect tuition payments
  • Order supplies
  • All parent newsletters and center updates via emails or texts.
  • Maintain all student files
  • Maintain and update class lists and rosters
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Order snack food
  • Notify director of any needed repairs to the facility
  • File unusual incident report with Licensing if any child is injured requiring medical attention.
  • Greet and host any licensing analyst for a site visit.
  • Check teacher lesson plans weekly
  • Plan and prepare for staff meetings on a monthly basis
  • Tour prospective new students and “sell the school!”
  • Manage all subsidy files, signatures and collections.
  • Begin a waiting list
  • Plan and implement all-school events for holidays and milestones.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
