Pipe Layer/Laborer
This position is for a pipelayer for underground and road construction projects throughout southern Michigan. Project locations include Brighton, Saline, Lansing, and Jackson areas. This is a union laborers position, all laborers will receive union benefits including paid vacation, family healthcare, pension, and training opportunities. Pay is dependent on experience, experienced pipelayers can be paid over the union scale dependent on experience and ability. We have a full workload this season and a good start on next season also. We are a 76 year old family business that specializes in sewer, water, and road construction, we are family owned and operated and provide a family atmosphere, with about 35 to 40 full time employees you won’t just be a number like working for the big guys. Work hours are Monday – Thursday 7am to around 5:30 PM and Friday’s 7 until 2 or 3, this will vary slightly as things happen on projects, but we generally do not work weekends.
