Patient Engagement and Marketing Coordinator – Advanced Dental – Aliso Viejo, CA

Notice: We are not looking for a marketing agency, or marketer who is not willing to work primarily for our company.

We are a growing Dental office looking for a Patient Engagement and Marketing Coordinator to work in a fast-paced environment with the goal of continuing to develop and expand on our patient base and the brand. Interested candidates should be highly organized, highly interested in promoting dental health, technologically proficient, and have a business mindset. The Patient Engagement and Marketing Coordinator is responsible to coordinate all activities related to in-office patient engagement, digital/mail marketing, external events and B2B relationships to keep the current patients happy and attract new patients. In-office patient engagement requires communication with patients receiving treatment and re-care/activation of patients who have pending care. Digital marketing includes but not limited to designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of Advanced Dental’s brand and services over the internet and social media. Building B2B relationships require identifying and engaging with the right businesses, and creating brand messages that improve brand awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities

Patient Engagement Responsibilities:

  • Communicate onsite and remotely with active patients before and after treatment to seek feedback, testimonials and referrals
  • Re-care campaigns for previously active patients – includes phone calls, emails, texts and customized letters

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop, create, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, Google Ads, in-office campaigns, local business outreach, community events and trade shows
  • Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to the office team
  • Reports weekly & monthly KPI performance vs. goals for all marketing programs
  • Review and analyze various content including microblogs, blogs, photos, videos, ratings and reviews
  • Coordinate market research, competition, demographics, and market share
  • Process incoming leads in prompt/efficient manner
  • Identify and participate in community events
  • Develop and create marketing materials for community events that promote brand awareness
  • Identify and coordinate with new local businesses for collaborative marketing initiatives
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and web content across site
  • Build strategic partnerships with other local businesses

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or higher. Marketing degree highly preferred. Will consider experience in lieu of degree
  • Preferred: Medical or Dental or Hospitality Industry background
  • Strong understanding of client engagement and marketing dynamics
  • Superior people skills
  • Videography and video editing skills preferred
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing or another related field
  • 1-2 years of experience with text marketing and email marketing
  • Expert social media skills (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. Google Business, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of experience with the SEO, Google Ads, Google and social media analytics tools
  • WordPress – ability to edit frontend of webpages
  • Website design experience preferred to help our website provider with changes that will benefit us
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • 1-2 years of Adobe Photoshop or Canva would be a plus
  • 1-2 years of copywriting for social media, print ads, and website copy would be a plus
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Must have attention to detail and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel within 5-10 mile radius from the office for marketing events and networking events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
