Physicians House Calls of Kansas is hiring for a full time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This position requires minimum 2-year experience. The model candidate will possess great organizational skills, the ability to multitask, have an enthusiastic attitude, the desire to learn the practice, and excellent communication skills. The candidate should also possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and a superior commitment to patient care. This position has no direct patient contact.
Responsibilities include answering patient calls, sending lab and x-ray orders, patient referrals, submitting prior authorizations for medications, refilling prescriptions, and entering data into EMR system. You will work closely with our Clinical Administrator. There may be other tasks assigned to you that are not daily responsibilities.
Hours Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
