What You Will Be Doing
Supervisory responsibilities
” Enforce all safety standards at construction sites
” Participate in pre-construction phase of projects, as required
” Monitor weekly schedules and maintain project progress based on that schedule
” Review project submittals and integrate information while the project is being constructed
” Maintain existing client relationships
” Maintain a set of as-built drawings referencing the changes and RFIs, both physically and electronically
” Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors prior to and during the project
” Coordinate submittals between design team, subcontractors, and AHJ
” Coordinate with utility companies as a project scope requires
” Participate in closeout requirements as needed including electronic punch lists and as-builts
” Formulate and execute budgeting and scheduling recovery plans
” Review and interpret plans and subcontract scopes of work
” Coordinate with the AHJ and any needed inspections or special inspections
” Participate in project pre-flight and post-flight meetings
” Maintain a quality installation to the level of company requirements
” Be responsible for project dimensioning and conformance with plans
” Continually access and apply the company safety rules to all activities
” Organize and maintain material orders per a schedule
” Coordinate with various designers, other agencies, utility companies as needed
” Simultaneous trade partner management
” Manage daily photos, JHAs, and other project paperwork
What You Need for this Position
” At least 5 years of General Contractor Healthcare Superintendent experience “
Experience with project management programs and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Project, Word, Excel, PDF readers, Outlook or similar) essential
” Knowledge of task timeframes and associated costs to assist PM with change order preparation
” Knowledge of contracts and how to implement the information while the project progresses Preferred education and experience
” Superintendent health care experience
” LEED (or equivalent) accreditation is beneficial
