Generation Health is looking for a compassionate, well-rounded family medicine provider to complement our interdisciplinary team. We see patients with work-related injuries on disability referred for evaluation and case management. Care typically involves referral for physical therapy, psychology evaluation and medication management. We have a fair amount of need to provide behavior health and mental health care needs for these patients. We partner with chiropractic clinics on the north side and Bellaire, with patients being seen at both locations.
We strive for a very patient-centric environment to make patients feel welcomed and supported. The position also has an emphasis on accuracy and careful documentation for submitting progress reports to Worker’s Comp insurance. Thus, the pace is more relaxed as compared to other busy clinics. Prior experience with Worker’s Compensation reporting and DOL credentialing is a plus. Experience in an Occupational Health environment is a plus.
The ideal candidate will ensure a positive patient experience while following clinic policies and procedures. Selected candidates should be team-oriented, dedicated to continuous improvement, energetic, and have strong time-management skills.
