Job Summary
We are currently seeking an entry level machine operator. At TIDI Products, machine operators are responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of a production machine, and for ensuring all finished product is properly packaged for shipment to the customer.
3rd shift positions are available, with working hours of 10:00 pm – 6:00 am, Sunday – Thursday. The starting pay rate for machine operators is $16.00 per hour plus $2 shift differential for 3rd shift.

Essential responsibilities of the entry level machine operator are:
- Safe operation of machines and other equipment
- Under direct supervision during training, performance of quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and ability to recognize product outside the specified tolerance
- Active communication with material handlers regarding materials needed for current and upcoming orders.
- Accurate completion of device history record (DHR) paperwork and label verification, with direction from trainer
- Responsible for neat and accurate production reports and quality check sheets on a daily basis, with direction from trainer
During the training period, the entry-level machine operator will learn the following:
- How to operate equipment safely
- Quality guidelines
- Loading of parent rolls on unwinds
- Webbing machines
- Tension adjustments
- Shimming and adjusting cutting equipment
- Set-ups
- Changeovers
