Activities Assistant – Norwalk Meadows – Norwalk, CA

We are hiring CNA’s to perform as Activities Assistants.

Experience in activities is desired but we will train if you have the demonstrated interest and the leadership qualities we desire to enhance our activities department.

This Assistant position will work in conjunction with the Activity Director to oversee the activities of an Activities department for a skilled nursing facility. Duties include charting, initial assessment, documentation, activity planning, implementation of scheduled activities, and supervision of activity staff members.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA in good standing.

Activities experience in long-term care highly desired but not required.

Activities Certification highly desired but not required.

Must have leadership skills, be extremely attentive to details, and be an effective communicator.
