We are looking for a pharmacy technician to fill a vital role in our independent pharmacy. Applicant must be dependable and punctual. Previous pharmacy experience and Micromerchant experience preferred, but not necessary for the right applicant. Pay rate dependent on experience. Must be detail-oriented and able to execute various tasks without error.
Responsibilities (including but not limited too)
- Greet patients/customers and answer questions
- Answer phone calls
- Make phone calls/communicate prescription status to patients
- Receive prescriptions & check their validity
- Type, fill, ring out, file prescriptions
- Resolve issues (patient concerns, insurance rejects, etc.)
- Manage inventory
- Perform COVID-19 tests, report results to patient and health dept.
