Animal Health Center is a busy two doctor veterinary hospital. Our employees work as a team with a common goal to provide quality veterinary care and excellent client service. Applicant will be expected to greet clients and their pets, perform all job responsibilities associated with technician/assistant position to include but not limited to: obtaining patient history, documenting in clients written record, safe animal restraint, assisting Veterinarian during exams and medical procedures, in-house lab work and preparing samples and paperwork for send-out to a reference lab, venipuncture, assisting with digital radiographs and assisting in surgery as needed. Responsibilities will also include some computer entry and cleaning areas of the hospital. Candidate must be enthusiastic and courteous. Must be able to work well with others and multi-task. One year of veterinary experience required. Hourly wage based on experience and in combination with the interview process.
