Health Screener- Phlebotomist
Healthy Measures is currently seeking Phlebotomists for our Wellness Screenings in Brownsville, TX.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with venipuncture blood drawing.
- Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year and a minimum of 200 successful blood draws within the last 6 months
- Punctual, responsible and able to work with limited supervision
- Possess professional demeanor and appearance
- Excellent oral communication and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a valid driver’s license, registered transportation and car insurance
- Ability to pass a full background check and drug screen
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a lab setting (i.e. LabCorp, Quest, etc.) or as a mobile examiner
- Previous experience at onsite wellness screenings
- Additional licenses, certifications and medical training
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
- Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight and blood pressure
- Set up and break down portable blood draw station
- Potentially transporting supplies to and from health screening events (lifting 10-20 lbs.)
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
- Certification in Phlebotomy and/or MVR’s may be required
- Comply with all state and federal licensing, credentialing and educational requirements
These positions are event driven, per diem, NOT full-time employment.
