Full Time Donated Goods Processor/Hanger- Rocky Mount, VA Store – Goodwill Industries of the Valleys – Martinsville, VA

A critical member of the Goodwill Donated Goods team, as a Donated Goods Processor you can expect to work 37-40 hours per week and to be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, 403 B retirement, educational reimbursement, EAP, STD, LTD, PTO, employee discount, and referral program.

As a Donated Goods Processor you will be responsible for:

  • Assist as required with the receiving and initial separation of donated goods.
  • Examines and conducts final quality inspection of soft goods using selection criteria and places into appropriate containers for sale or for salvage.
  • Hang garments as necessary to achieve daily hang counts.
  • Take bale and pull buggy to staging area for truck pick up
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills.

Are you . . .

  • A high school graduate or have equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reliable and looking to join a team with advancement potential?
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance and/or accommodations?
  • Experienced in retail production? If not, that’s ok too as long as you have a customer service mindset!
