Optometric Technician/Receptionist – Zeena Optical LLC – Marietta, GA

Zeena Optical LLC is seeking candidates to join our team of optometry practice to assist the doctors and provide an excellent experience for our patients. The candidate must be professional, personable, caring, and able to educate the patient in a various area.

Our team will provide all the necessarily training to start your career in the field of optometric tech. Any previous experience in optometry/medical field is a plus.

Responsibilities and duties:

Optometry technician responsibilities and duties includes but not limited to:

Greet patients
Answer phone calls
Schedule appointments
Gather medical history
Prescreen the patients

Conducting pre-testing
Special testing
Auto Refractor (OPD)
Visual Field
Follow the instruction provided with all the testing equipment
Communicate professionally with other staff members, doctors, patients
Educate patients about insurance coverage and vision benefits
Obtain insurance authorization and verification of the benefits
Educate patients regarding contact lens insertion and removal
Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Disinfects and wipes down all equipment and instruments
Cleans exam rooms and office at the end of each day
Proactive about reporting equipment failure to a management member
Performs other duties assigned by a management member
Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

Requirement:

Approachable personality (Required)

High school education or equivalent (Required)
Experience in optometry practice or medical practice (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $13.00 – $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends
