M Health Fairview Health Services is looking for a Housekeeping Aide at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. The schedule for this position is 51hours per two week pay period and is benefit eligible.
The Housekeeping Aide performs cleaning duties as assigned and keeps the facility orderly, attractive, clean, and sanitary. The Housekeeping Aide also works in a patient care environment and provides cleaning services to medical staff as requested.
Qualifications:
- Able to lift 0 – 40lbs frequently
- Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
- Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 – 100lbs) frequently
- Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100lbs) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
- Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e. bleach, wax, disinfectant, etc.)
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even hours as needed per assigned area
- Must have communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Requires ability to work independently
- Able to clean using repetitive motions, reach above shoulders, stoop and bend at the knees.
