We are seeking a full-time Electrician to help us execute the maintenance, repair, and calibration of the electrical and some mechanical equipment out of our Van Nuys facility. In this position you will be responsible for checking and repairing equipment before it ships to job sites. Key duties include:

Repair, calibrate, test and inspect electrical power systems and equipment as delegated by the Chief Engineer. - Make mechanical repairs.
- Learn to repair and maintain the various electrical systems used in broadcasting.
- Assist with equipment installations and testing of mobile units.
- Provide technical assistance and leadership to the apprentices.
- An apprenticeship as an electrician or a Technical, Bachelor’s Degree in electrical – maintenance, technologies or science.
- Experience in the TV, Movie and Broadcast fields seen as a plus.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience as a commercial and or industrial electrician.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical theory and its application to repairing complex electrical systems.
- Must have knowledge of the National and California Electrical Codes, the NFPA and OSHA.
