DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities of the Journeymen Low Voltage Electrician include, but are not limited to, any or all of the following:
- Installation and Service of CCTV (IP & analog), Burglary Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Control Systems, Structured Cabling (Cat5 & Cat6) and Audio Visual Equipment
- Knowledge of programming, setup, commissioning and subsequent testing of burglary and fire alarm systems a PLUS. (Honeywell, Vista, DMP, Firelite, DSC and Bosch systems, among others)
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and servicing techniques of above system types a PLUS
- Ensuring assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget
- Maintaining and submitting accurate documentation on our app.
- Knowledge of installation techniques for EMT, underground PVC & aerial cabling a PLUS
- Installing/pulling wire according to NEC standards a PLUS
- Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies a PLUS
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants for the Journeymen Low Voltage Electrician position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5+ years of CCTV, Alarm, Fire and Access Control installation experience highly preferred but not required.
- above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Deadline driven.
- Detail oriented.
- Clean driving record.
- Background check and drug test required upon employment
- NICET certification in Fire Alarms greatly needed and a PLUS
Compensation for this full time position is competitive and pay based upon experience.
