Description:

****NO THIRD PARTIES****The Business Analyst is responsible for the delivery of reporting and analytics services offered through the Institution Reporting Core. The overall goal of the Business Analyst is to offer facilitate the development and enhancement of data reporting assets such as dashboards, reports and supporting services to help them plan, perform, monitor and improve their work. The role will include digging deep into complex data, and coming up with specific and defined measures, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support dashboard and reporting initiatives. The Information Analyst team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely data standardization to steer these efforts.

• Serve as the primary point of contact to executive sponsors for dashboard and reporting needs • Work with dashboard/report sponsors to gather requirements, document business processes and workflows, and explore potential solutions with the service delivery teams • Document clear and concise requirements ensuring descriptions are complete, consistent, feasible, traceable, and verifiable to support the completion of data related projects • Support business and technology teams to ensure key deliverables are met in an accurate timely manner • Analyze and interpret business requirements into functional requirements and specifications that have an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by the technology teams • Develop scope of works with service delivery teams • Work with the service delivery team to develop a proof of concept and validate with customers • Verify that the solution meets the business, compliance and technical requirements prior to publication • The preferred candidate will have experience with an EHR system and Analytical work experience within the healthcare industry (i.e. hospitals, network, ancillary, medical facilities, healthcare vendor,

Strong interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with all levels within the organization • Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills • Presents well with strong written and oral communication skills necessary to articulate complex themes in a simple manner • Well organized with strong attention to accuracy and detail • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve services • Interpret business challenges, identifies improvement opportunities and recommends best practices • Able to recognize situations that may have cross-functional impact on the success of a project • Must be team oriented and able to communicate with diverse groups • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple simultaneous priorities • Bachelor’s degree or higher • Knowledgeable in health-related topics, EPIC & Tableau systems • Proficient with SQL, Agile/Lean Six Sigma/Scrum preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office required • 3+ years of business analyst experience, project manager, product manager, portfolio manager
