Regional Express Inc. is a delivery service contractor for Amazon Logistics, Inc. providing home and business delivery services from Buford, GA. Currently seeking full-time DOT-certified drivers with opportunities for long-term employment and advancement. Work 4-6 days per week x 10-hr shifts. Typical schedule Sun.-Wed. or Wed.-Sat. Starting salary $16/hr. Paid training plus benefits including PTO and medical/dental/vision. Background check and drug screen required. Former Amazon/Flex, FedEx, UPS driving experience preferred but not required.
Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
- 21 years old with valid current class C driver’s license (CDL is NOT req.)
- High school diploma
- Clean driving record (no excessive speeding, DWI, cell phone use tickets)
- Criminal background check, drug test and DOT physical examination
- 1+ years delivery/commercial driving exp. past 3 years (12-26′ box truck, moving, step van)
- Preference given to current GA DOT card holders
- Reliable transportation to delivery station in Buford, GA
- Two forms of identification for I-9 employment eligibility verification
- Working mobile phone
Qualified applicants must be able to drive safely and efficiently, follow GPS/turn-by-turn directions, use hand-held delivery device, interact professionally with customers and Amazon management, deliver packages in a safe, timely, secure fashion. Handle packages up to 50 lbs. and deliver 150-200+ stops/day.
