POSITION SUMMARY
Assists in the planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation of the department. Facilitate flow of patients and care by the provider by performing clerical and receptionist responsibilities, patient care, and maintaining the physical environment of the area.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
o Required:
§ High School Diploma or Equivalent
o Preferred
§ Graduate of accredited school of Medical Assistant
§ National Certification or Registered Medical Assistant
§ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
EXPERIENCE
o Required:
§ None
o Preferred:
§ One year of experience in one or more of the following; urgent care, emergency
department or medical office setting.
