POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Director, the Radiology Tech Assistant?s responsibilities include clerical, technical, and patient care skills and competencies. They must use sound judgment and diplomacy as the first interface of Radiology Services with the patients and unit personnel. They will work between the departments of Radiology Services to assist those departments in the timely delivery of service. They will interface daily with physicians, nursing staff, and technologists to insure quality services and continuum of care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school graduate or equivalent

1. Prefer some college and/or knowledge of medical terminology and the computer

1. Prefer CNA or patient care experience.
2. Prefer one (1) year experience in patient care.
