Q: What if I have no experience in the Caregiving industry?
A: Visiting Angels of Canton now offers an 8 hours skills training program available for people that want to get into this field but are not sure how to begin. Taught by the instructor of one of our local state tested nursing assistant courses, there is a cost for the training but it’s also paid training that will allow inexperienced individuals to break into the industry!

Duties and Responsibilities:
You could be helping your Senior in-home clients with…
- Meal preparation and cooking.
- Conversation and companionship.
- Homemaker services.
- Helping with “Personal Care” including: dressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Staying awake to help with needs throughout the night (if working night shift)
- note: Some clients may need more specific assistance/care.
