DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire a dynamic, energetic team leader for the Assistant Director of Nursing position for Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
As an Assistant Director of Nursing, your main responsibilities are:
- Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, cover when the DON is out
- Assuring the best patient care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
- To serve as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
- Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
- Working well under pressure, problem-solve, and perform various jobs
- Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
- Participating in facility surveys
- Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families
- Be knowledgeable in Nursing home regulations, Care Plans, and MDS
