Our 47-bed Progressive Cardiac Care Unit is a great place to work! The PCCU recently expanded and our nurse to patient ratio is typically 4:1 (depending on acuities). This position is full time, 7PM-7AM.

When you work in the PCCU, you will provide care that includes managing critical drips, pulling sheaths after cardiac catheterization, managing arrhythmias and educating patients and families about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The collaborative team in the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit includes Cardiovascular Surgeons, Cardiologists, Patient Care Technicians, Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, and Pharmacists. We provide cutting edge innovations such as:

  • Minimally invasive valve reconstruction surgery
  • Robotic angioplasty
  • Transcatheter aortic valve replacements
  • Cardiac interventions
  • Peripheral interventions
  • EP studies

Required:

  • Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia. Preferred: National certification in clinical specialty as eligible.
  • Associate Nursing Degree Required; Bachelor of Nursing Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year in a hospital acute care setting. New graduate RNs or those with less than one year of experience will be referred to the Nurse Residency Program recruiter.
