Job Description
The Home Health Nurse will be responsible in educating caregivers with the ongoing care of the clients. Provide skilled training and develop programs to maintain health and safety support for the caregivers. The Home Health nurse will travel to client’s homes and inspect for changes in condition as well as assessing for muscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection. The home health nurse will be responsible to work along with the care manager and assist in monitoring client recovery, managing care plans, compiling reports, and follow-ups. In addition, collaborate with other healthcare professionals and build relationships within the communities to develop and grow professional network.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Relevant license or certification of similar role
- 1-3 years of Health Care experience
- Physical and mental strength.
- Excellent reporting, observational and problem-solving skills.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the Job.
- Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint check, TB test, DMV check and drug screen.
- Have a valid driver license and use of insured automobile, in addition to a clean driving record.
