Job Summary: Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital (an Ethos Veterinary Health hospital) is looking for a full time Curbside Attendant (Curbside Ambassador) to join our team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Curbside Attendant (Curbside Ambassador) supports the Client Care department and is responsible for transporting animals to and from owner’s vehicles to the hospital for their visit. The Curbside Attendant positively impacts the owner’s experience by providing exemplary customer service during the visit.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and securely transports pets to and from owner’s vehicles to the hospital
- Transports food, medications, and other items to owner’s vehicles
- Retrieves lab samples
- Recognizes the need for help and alerts staff as appropriate
- Performs basic record keeping tasks
- Answers phones
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with small animals is required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter or as a veterinary receptionist, medical secretary, or customer service representative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask as needed
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to react to a changing environment

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
