Office Manager – First Home Healthcare, LLC – Alice, TX

The office manager provides direct supervision of all office staff, assists the administrator in the day-to-day operations of the agency, and supports the patient care efforts of the agency through effective communication with the office and nursing staff under the direct supervision of the Administrator.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree, preferred or at least five years of management experience in medical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and supervise people, routine and complicated business files, accounts payable/receivable, personnel concerns/problems, and the computer system.
  • Ensure quality performance standards and open communications are maintained with all staff members and supervisors.
  • Maintain high visibility and availability via telephone and / or while in the office, projecting a concerned, professional attitude toward departmental personnel.
  • Assist the administrator in cost effective management of the Agency.
  • Approve ordering of office supplies.
  • Handle advertising needs.
  • Order all forms used by agency.

Organizational Relationship:

  • Reports directly to the administrator

Functional Abilities:

  • Must be able to read 8 point or lager type
  • Must be able to hear and speak in a manner understood by most people
  • Must be able to stoop and bend
  • Must be able to lift and carry effectively so as to be able to perform the above-listed functions
