Job Summary
Medicoil is a leading supplier of precision wire products and assemblies to the medical device industry and is committed to serving the unique needs of our customer.
The R&D Technician will work with R&D (Research and Development) and Engineering on prototypes and new product development. Most work is performed under a microscope using fine wire to manufacture wire forms and coils. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for reading engineering drawings and blueprints and setting up and running CNC equipment to manufacture parts.
The ideal candidate must be PC-literate and conversational programming skills are strongly desired. Strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude required. Previous experience in a machine shop environment would be a plus. Patience and creativity would be a critical attribute.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
