About the position:

TJFACT is seeking to hire a Pharmacist for a short-term assignment to support the CDC in Atlanta, GA. This position will work virtually to complete a short-term task deliverable as described below. TJFACT has an active contract with the Center’s for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) supporting the Division of Injury Prevention (DIP). The mission of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) is to prevent violence and injuries and reduce their consequences so that people can live to their full potential. The Division of Injury Prevention (DIP) is one of three divisions within NCIPC. DIP’s mission is to ensure that people of all ages-from infants to older adults-have safe and healthy lives.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this special project position is for a qualified clinician consultant to use previously collected CDC data to outline healthcare provider discussion content and update existing factsheets based on current content.

Requirements:

• At a minimum, a masters-level graduate degree is required; doctorate level degree is preferred;
• Clinical background in pharmacy or nursing is preferred;
• Publication experience on the topic of Unintentional Injury Prevention is preferred;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;
• Knowledge of public health;
• Ability to work in a diverse, flexible, deadline driven, government environment
