Certified Nursing Aide – for Hospice

Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care has opening for Part-Time Hospice Aides. This position floats to all of our VA service areas – Hillsville, Stuart, Martinsville. Our goal is to minimize your travel time to provide patient care by keeping you within your community. Hours worked are Sat – Sun, 12 hour days.

The hospice aide provides personal care to our patients, assisting them in activities of daily living. Those duties include but are not limited to: ambulation & prescribed exercise, bathing, dressing, record vital signs, and food and fluid intake and output as directed. Mountain Valley Hospice strives to “ create the BEST patient experience-every patient, every family, every time” .

Qualifications:

· Current Virginia CNA license

· Ability to make home visits

· Valid driver’s license with required auto liability insurance
