Take ownership to ensure delivery targets

The cell planner will coordinate the cell team to integrate customer delivery needs with capacity and cost control, manage and communicate complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy

As a Cell Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing the jobs induction plan based on available resources / work load to meet (Customer Want Date) and for stable operation.
  • Responding to queries about the planning, collecting, analyzing and recording data on the progress of jobs
  • Analyzing process data to understand capability and variances to standards.
  • Identifying root cause deviations from production plan and implements corrective initiatives
  • Working with (Forecasting & Planning) team to provide visibility on projected volumes per plan.
  • Leading daily production meeting, coordinating the team to provide solutions and follow -up on actions.
  • Updating cockpit and Oracle accurately to reflect and communicate jobs status
  • Ensuring efficient translation of jobs order in ERP system by different stakeholders to reflect actual jobs status.
  • Following -up with ITO / OTR teams on schedule / delivery
  • Negotiating amendments to proposed completion date with internal & external customers.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Working experience in a planning or operations role
  • Ability complete slot planning
  • Experience in Oracle ERP and SAP ERP
  • Excellent understanding of data analytics
  • Have in-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft excel functions and capabilities
