JOB DUTIES:
Works with Operator conducting visual inspection of extrusions insuring that they meet in-house quality standards before placing in baskets.
Lifts extrusions from saw table and places them in racks/baskets per proper stacking procedures.
Assists Operator in cutting and disposing of scrap.
Helps weigh and record empty and full racks/baskets before they leave the work area.
Visually inspects metal as it is transferred to insure it meets in-house quality standards
packs metal according to customer requirements using tape, stretch wrap, cardboard, paper, etc
Inspects cut lengths looking for burrs, scratches, chips, gouges, dents, bubbles, etc.
Assists with maintaining a neat and orderly plant, ensuring aisle ways are kept clear
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be able to pass pre employment physical and drug screen
SHIFT: 7PM -7AM; 3 or 4 days a week rotating. Every other weekend is a three day weekend!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
