Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is located in Castleton, NY, 9 miles from Albany, and is looking for a full-time RN Unit Manager.
Nurse Manager – Castleton, NY
Schedules Available: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 40 hour/week; exempt position
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the 24-hour operation of a 40 bed rehabilitation/long term care unit in an 80 bed facility including:
o Utilizes Nursing personnel to ensure resident care needs are met
o Maintains responsibility for the coordination of resident care
o Maintains responsibility for supervision/evaluation of all nursing personnel
o Serves as liason between nursing and other departments
o Maintains responsibility for timely completion of all unit documentation
o Oversees sanitation and safety of unit
o Meets administrative responsibilities as assigned
o Actively participates in Quality Assurance
o Conducts investigations and provides disciplinary action as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
o 3 – 5 years’ experience in long term care (preferred)
o Current NYS licensed registered nurse
o CPR certified
o Experience in DOH survey process (preferred)
