Job Summary
Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Assists with preparing operating suite for procedures. Helps to monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments as indicated. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Operating Room Technician Certification or Completion of an Approved Surgical Scrub Technician Program or experience working as an OR Tech.
- Current BLS Certification.
