Responsibilities:

The Senior Program Manager, Government Accounts, will act as a key advocate of eMagin’s technology and product line with stakeholders throughout the defense industrial base. They are responsible for monitoring new and existing R&D programs, participating in technical and business discussions, and driving solutions to eMagin’s technology. Internally, they must align eMagin’s roadmap with the needs of the customer and jointly define paths forward.
Qualified individuals should have experience in academic labs, government R&D, or the corporate sector and will need to leverage their technical knowledge and professional networks. Experience working with R&D communities and stakeholders to establish aggressive program goals (including detailed technical milestones and other program activities) needed to manage a portfolio of sophisticated R&D projects is required.

Qualifications:

Accountable for achieving yearly contract revenue goals
Providing expertise to government programs in the execution of multiple advanced technology development programs.
Integrating and coordinating program activities with government agencies/contractors to manage and prioritize activities to ensure efficient operations and that all programs are completed on schedule.
Leading programmatic and technical discussions with government and industry teams to initiate new program concepts and discuss program planning and execution approaches. Authoring program plans, briefings and technical reports.
Providing contract management and acquisition support.
Must possess strong leadership, organizational, and oral and written communication skills. Candidates should be self-starters capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated organizational expertise in large programs and/or organizations with multiple components and diverse teams.
Experience in leading and directing large matrix teams in meeting program objectives.
Demonstrated experience managing schedules, budget and program risks for fast-paced advanced technology programs.
Ability to quickly identify and resolve program execution and personnel issues.
Expertise in the acquisition of new programs, solicitations and contracting.

Required Qualifications
BS in Engineering or Science field
Minimum 5 years of defense related experience.

Experience in defense-related technology research and/or development programs
Experience in transitioning military systems to the user community
Desired Qualifications
MS in Engineering or Science field
10 plus years of defense related experience
Ability to receive USG Secret clearance
Experience with semiconductor or display-related technologies.
Existing contacts in DoD and Prime contractors
Travel – 25% – 50% will be required within USA.
Position Location – Washington DC area
Reports directly to – Vice President, Business Development
