Costello Eye Physicians and Surgeons is seeking a full time Optometrist.
We are a 4 MD/2 OD practice group currently with six locations in upstate NY. We are merging with a large practice in Watertown, NY. An optometrist is needed to provide care along with an ophthalmologist at the same location full time. The doctor will be immersed in the medical side of optometry and should enjoy diagnosing glaucoma and most common eye diseases. All diagnostic equipment and technical support staff are available and the doctor should be comfortable interpreting those tests. The practice is run by the doctors, not a corporation or private equity. Our doctors and staff treat our patients like family and seek a doctor with the same mind-set.
Beautiful upstate New York is at its finest at the nearby Lake Ontario and 1000 islands St Lawrence Seaway. The region is a boater’s paradise in the summer. Year round, the nearby Adirondack mountain range provides outdoor activities and vacations galore. There are lots of great places to live in town and nearby. Year round, the region is an outdoor lovers’ paradise.
Base salary of $190-200,000 with signing bonus available and significant bonus income.

Hours are M-F 8-4:30 with NO NIGHTS/NO WEEKENDS.
Job Requirement: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree, State issued license to practice optometry, Excellent interpersonal skills with focus on patient experience
