Moderately busy Family Practice office looking to replace the full time medical technician who is leaving.
The position pays $17-$19.50 an hour depending on experience. Great office staff to work with. Retirement matching plan is available.
Job responsibilities include: Assessing patients in person and over the phone, attending to patient needs, assisting with procedures, interacting with medical insurance companies, cleaning, packing and sterilizing equipment for procedures, maintaining and organizing inventory, notifying patients of lab and procedure results, doing EKGs, and maintaining and organizjng exam rooms. Some of the responsibilities can be learned on the job.
Applicant must be able to multitask, administer IM medications and have good interpersonal skills.
