Clinical Psychologist – HUNTINGTON BEHAVIORAL HEALTH – Huntington, WV

SKILLS
Ability to routinely manage complex patients
Ability to evaluate clients and make clinical judgments based on information gathered during sessions
Ability to accurately diagnose/strong familiarity with DSM-V diagnostic
Training and experience with empirically supported psychotherapy and other therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals of care
Ability to routinely provide patient and family education and training
Ability to complete required patient care documentation and communication in a timely manner and in accordance with professional standards.
Willingness to and experience in collaborating with other agencies as needed to deliver coordinated care (schools, doctors, psychiatrists, etc.)
Desire to be part of a growing service team that is dedicated to offering a holistic approach to treatment

REQUIREMENTS
PhD or PsyD degree from an APA accredited program is preferred. We will consider doctoral level candidates from a non-APA program, as well as licensed Master’s level clinicians (LICSW, MFT, etc.) who can demonstrate appropriate clinical experience and training
A postdoctoral experience would be considered for those preferred. If they have We will consider unlicensed candidates who need to fulfill their postdoctoral hours
Ability to be licensed in the state of West Virginia (potentially Ohio and Kentucky)
Generalist training with experience in a broad range of mental health concerns
Experience with brief interventions/consultations with other providers is preferred
Training in psychological/psychological assessment with adults is preferred. Testing may include some children and teens

We value each patient and handle his or her individual needs in a discreet and nonjudgmental manner. We are seeking a full-time psychologist to join our expand our services. HBH takes an integrated approach to medicine and behavioral health. Our entire clinic functions as a team, from the front desk to the providers. Caring for the patient and meeting them where they are to create a successful treatment plan.

The successful candidate will provide services to both adults and children patients, with an emphasis on team-based care. The candidate will provide ongoing consultation and coordination of care with our medical providers and other relevant individuals regarding the mental health issues of clients and their families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
