Job Summary
Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors. Performs clerical duties for the department assigned.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Enters monthly schedule requests
- Collects and assembles time schedules for approval and copying
- Orders, assigns and maintains credential / regulatory records of companions and private duty staff
- Orients patients and families about direct payment of private duty nurses and attendants
- Makes telephone calls to obtain additional staff as necessary
- Obtains, secure and distributes Payroll Checks
- Enters, records, checks, analyzes, classifies, and tabulates an assortment of data
- Makes time changes as necessary
- Enters and maintains record of all vacations /licensure information for all nursing personnel
- Records unit census and classification on daily staffing sheets
- Updates and maintains employee information – license exp. /telephone #’s, etc.
- Verifies all invoices for staffing from outside agencies
- Makes adjustments to Ansos codes
- Maintains inventory and assist staff with completion of Human Resource forms
- Orders and maintains supplies as necessary
- Answers correspondence from patients, families, and insurance companies for reimbursement purposes
- Inputs patient classification information when needed
- Files in employee records as needed
- Copies reports and distributes
Education Requirements:
High School graduate.
Experience Requirements:
Two years clerical experience preferably in health care
Licensing and Certification Requirements:

Microsoft Office – Beginner
