Gundersen Health System is recruiting for an MD, DO or DPM with advanced training in foot and ankle surgery.
We are home to a strong, accredited surgical podiatry residency. There is an expectation this role will partner with residents both clinically, with research, and provide mentoring in a collaborative environment.
It is expected that the person filling this role will expand the service line such that a partner will be hired in the future. We also s eek a collegial leader who is focused on lifelong growth. As such a future interest to build and lead a foot and ankle fellowship is possible.
Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
