Optometric Technician – Johnson Eye Care – Boerne, TX

Responsibilities include:

1. Getting patients ready for the doctor (using testing equipment, checking vision, taking a case history)

2. Ordering and stocking contact lenses

3. Using specialty equipment to test for eye disease

4. Instructing patients on how to insert and remove contact lenses

5. Help the receptionist by answering the phone and scheduling appointments during busy times.

Experience as an optometric/ophthalmic technician is not required, but is preferred. Providing excellent customer service is required.

Training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 – $17.00 per hour
