Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee tools/equipment, materials, and delivery operations.

    • Maintain tool tracking program for all tools.
    • Pull tool requests and coordinate with Shipping for delivery.
    • Receive and inspect returned tools from jobsites.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries as needed.

    • Pulling orders.
    • Driving vehicle for pickup/delivery.
    • Loading and unloading vehicle.
    • Follow up on material returns and credits
  • Maintain fleet program for company vehicles.

    • Insure mileage, vehicle inspections, repairs and maintenance for fleet is kept up.
  • Maintain warehouse, yard and building maintenance.
  • Maintain safety inventory and orders.
  • Purchase consumables and supplies, tools, rigging, safety.
  • Receive inbound freight daily, mark and notify recipient. Track all freight received and deliveries made. Submit freight claims when necessary.
  • Customer service.
  • Coordinate with scheduler/dispatcher.
  • Maintain a clean driving record. Keep current and be subject to random checks on the following: DOT physical, MVR and background check, drug/alcohol screens. DOT, CDL and Forklift requirements.


Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Required Experience and Certifications:

    • 1 year of related warehouse or work driving experience required.
    • Forklift experience required.
    • Must be able to pass and retain a DOT medical certification, within 30 days of hire date.
    • Must be able to pass a P1 Road Test or have a current CDL, within 30 days of hire date.
    • Must meet and retain all DOT FMCSA requirements for driving a 10,001 lb vehicle, within 30 days of hire date.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, and Windows. Accurate typing skills.
  • Previous Mechanical or Electrical Service/Construction experience preferred but not required.
  • Work without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation, ALL of the following work activities:

    • Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
    • Reaching for, pushing and pulling materials and equipment.
    • Climbing ladders and stairs.
    • Traversing rough and uneven surfaces.
    • Standing, balancing, walking, kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting to access work areas and to complete tasks.
    • Responding to audio/visual warnings and alarms
  • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must have an excellent driving record and be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check. Must be able to meet P1 Group qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
