Position Highlights
Ensures residents’ nursing needs are met by the development, maintenance and monitoring of a service plan for each resident. Meets regularly with the supportive services, social services, and/or residents to evaluate other service needs.
Provides overall leadership to the nursing department in compliance with all government regulations and Genesis policies.
Responsible for nursing staff recruitment and retention, training and development, and performance evaluations.
Operates/maintains nursing department within budgetary guidelines.
Assists in marketing the senior living community by touring, participating in public relations events, and/or interacting with potential customer referral sources.
Helps residents with orientation and adjustment to the senior living community/staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing. Must have a minimum of two years’ experience working with seniors or disabled individuals as well as demonstrated supervisory and management skills.
