Nursing Assistant in Training (Full Time) – Genesis Healthcare – Ridgewood Center – Bedford, NH

In this position, you will work under the direction of the licensed nurse to gather the visual experience of becoming a Certified/Licensed Nursing Assistant. You will also provide services essential to caring for the needs and comfort of our patients to achieve patient/family satisfaction and quality patient outcomes.

Position Highlights
Learn about patient mouth care, bathing, foot care, perineal care and other certified/licensed nursing assistant skills.

Manage patient personal belongings by marking and bagging individual items
Ensure proper patient hydration by filling water pitchers regularly

Collect and bag soiled linens

Make unoccupied patient beds
Assist with the dining program

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer knowledge or willingness to learn preferred Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients to meet their medical and physical needs. Must be age 18 or older and accompanied by an instructor, to use the mechanical sit to stand lift machine.
