Assist in the implementation, analysis, identification and development of Pre-Employment Transition Services for the North Central Collaborative. Provide services to support core Pre-ETS initiatives of the North Central Collaborative in local high schools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for delivery of project services on time and on budget.
- Work with management on project tasks and needs.
- Assist in the implementation, development and follow-through of referrals.
- Maintain appropriate record keeping systems for tracking referrals, student outcomes and project success.
- Maintain and develop positive communication with partners, vocational rehabilitation, and schools for the purposes of the Pre-ETS grant.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere which promotes the team approach to solutions, good morale, open communication between staff, and positive customer relationships.
- Must have the ability to successfully work in both independent and group settings.
- Convene and facilitate meetings, develop timelines and follow through on commitments.
- Meet with students, teachers, and administrative staff on a regular basis.
- Maintain Pre-ETS caseloads at designated schools.
- Complete Pre-ETS intakes as needed.
- Build Pre-ETS group activities and after school programming
- Work directly with Pre-ETS students on job exploration counseling, work based learning experiences, work place readiness, self-advocacy, and post-secondary.
- Demonstrate a professional, positive, and team player attitude.
- Required to attend North Central Collaborative meetings and serve on agency subcommittees as needed.
- Must represent the agency at school functions such as outreach night activities educating families on Pre-ETS services.
- Attend State meetings as requested by agency administration.
- Have own transportation to/from meetings and events in and around the state.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Attend/request related training as authorized.
- Be available to work afternoons and evenings as needed for Pre-ETS group activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, SPEA, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Must have demonstrated use of desktop publishing and word processing.
- Must have strong teamwork and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain a valid Indiana driver’s license, insurance on a personal vehicle (minimum of PLPD with Medical liability coverage), and maintain insurability as defined by the agency liability insurance carrier.
- Must be able to pass each school’s required background check
