We are currently hiring for Certified Nursing Assistants. You will provide care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own home. The Arc of San Diego operates ten (10) ICF-DD-H residential facilities across San Diego County.
Who you are:
- A registered nurse comfortable providing full care coordination and review
- A strong advocate with active observation skills for the rights and best interests of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities
A typical day will include:
- Supporting individual health care plans; providing case management support and oversight for clients including:
- Pharmacy and medication review
- Physical and nutrition assessments
- Psychiatrist and mental health review
- Scheduling and attending coordinated client service planning meetings
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- 6 months hands on experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record
We’d love it if you:
- Have experience using electronic case management systems (Therap)
- Previously provided in-home care in individual or group settings
